Re: Body kit paint prep

Thanks for the reply.
I thought as much Wet and dry it is then to give the primer something to adhere too then super red followed by lacquer for some shine.
Should be good enough for the moment anyway.

Body kit paint prep

The query I have is that the side skirts have came in a white gel coat finish and I am wondering how you guys prepare them for paint as I would think they are far to smooth for paint adhesion as they are. Can ...

No way i would try the whole car after seing the various videos on you tube! Tried tinting once and it was a disaster. There is a buisiness fairly local that i have been in contact with and have gone along to see some of their work. Must say i am very impressed. They had some series motors there bei...

Price might seem high to some but i was quoted 150 a side by Toyota dealer. (Hope the fit is good as original though) Will be winter time before i will get round to ...

Strip removal

Hi guys, this has been probably covered before but I can't find the answer,so how do you remove the strip mouldings that go down the length of a 95 N/A especially the one above the side rear engine air intake? Are they bolted on or can you just lever them off?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Mr2 Sills

I fear that sill rot will be the undoing of this great little car and the longer present owners leave the repair due to lack of available spares and the economics of saving the car from the breakers doesn't add up then more cars will be lost. There would certainly be many an owner that would purchas...

[Mk2] [NA] Mr2 Sills

After discovering mine need changing I have been trawling through the the many threads on Sill repairs and replacements I stil can't find a supplier of new parts unless I have missed it.
However, if not there is definitely a market here for someone with some fabrication experience....know anyone??

Hi all,I have been missing from this site for a while now due to my 95 T Bar being off the road and being held in storage for about a year and a half. This was because ,We had been in rented accommodation while our new house was being built. The car itself was in a garage under cover on a trickle cha...
