it will be either a relay or the acuator. I'd check if you are getting voltage when you fire your central locking...

I use 15/40 as cars with high miles should use a thicker oil to protect seals etc...

I've replaced the cables a few years back but always had a weak handbrake.

I have a 1990 rev1 mr2 and it had a weak handbrake. I've replaced the cables approx 2 years ago and the pads and discs but still does not look as if it will pass the MOT.

great car looks fab was the windshield replaced as the blue strip is a UK thing? Also has the car had any mods?

welcom to the club and congrats on the MR2. As you know these cars are getting old so as yours in a turbo just dont over boost it and change oil frequently. If you are going to do engine mods then I shall say go for it!

Only illegal if it does not show up the correct color. I.E the indicators are very dim or not orange on flash...same with the others.

it might be some oil thats spilt down the engine and is burning off... let it run for a while and see if it goes away...if not maybe a seal thats gone?

one looks like an aircon plug, the other one an aerial and the other is a com port cable but no idea what they would be used for...
