It's a ball and spring MBC.

In 2nd gear it pulls to 1.2bar which is what I want...which makes me think there can't be a leak. It's just 3rd, 4th and 5th that it only pulls to 0.6bar approximately. I can't think why it wouldn't always boost to that level.

David, that's really kind of you...but I think the bolts are correct, it's the mounting hole in the actual seat that is too small for them.

I've recently had my ct20b rebuilt with steel shaft and 360 degree thrust bearing so would like to know if it could handle more boost. My fuelling is still stock but the engine has been forged. Im just running 1bar of boost just now but would like to turn it up a bit more if the fuelling can take it...

Well...... I've now just replaced the Circuit Open Relay in the fuse box in the engine bay and the problem still exists. The car cuts out after 20 odd seconds.
