Not yet mate, as I only noticed it today.
I only fitted and set it not long ago and it was fine then.
That sounds like a good suggestion though to rule it out.
Cheers, michael.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] MBC over EBC?
Thanks guys,
It's a ball and spring MBC.
In 2nd gear it pulls to 1.2bar which is what I want...which makes me think there can't be a leak. It's just 3rd, 4th and 5th that it only pulls to 0.6bar approximately. I can't think why it wouldn't always boost to that level.
Cheers, Michael.

[Mk2] [Turbo] MBC over EBC?
Hi all, At the moment I have a MBC installed and it boosts to 1.2bar in 2nd gear as that's what I set it to do. However it doesn't boost to anywhere near this in 3rd, 4th or 5th. Is it working correctly? Should it boost to 1.2bar in all gears? My other question is, if I bought an EBC would I be able...

Re: Bolt for seat belt buckle clip?
Well done guys, thanks.
That does seem to be the answer....now I just need to see where I can get a pair, probably cheaper buying another set of seats!
Cheers, Michael.

Re: Bolt for seat belt buckle clip?
David, that's really kind of you...but I think the bolts are correct, it's the mounting hole in the actual seat that is too small for them.

Bolt for seat belt buckle clip?
Hi all, I'm trying to attach my seat belt clip(part with the red release button) back onto my seat. Previously it was attached to the centre tunnel! The bolt which is the correct size for the seat belt clip is too big for the hole in the seat itself. Did these bolts come in different sizes? Or have ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Which turbo for quick spool
I've recently had my ct20b rebuilt with steel shaft and 360 degree thrust bearing so would like to know if it could handle more boost. My fuelling is still stock but the engine has been forged. Im just running 1bar of boost just now but would like to turn it up a bit more if the fuelling can take it...

What was the total cost then? And do you have a link to your condenser?
Is it a real Denso part?

Re: Cutting out after 20/30 seconds???
Well...... I've now just replaced the Circuit Open Relay in the fuse box in the engine bay and the problem still exists. The car cuts out after 20 odd seconds. I'm sure i can hear the relay click just before the car cuts out. What I did notice is that when I start the car from cold,it will idle for ...

Re: Cutting out after 20/30 seconds???
Thanks for that reply mate. I've just had time to check over the car, first thing I did was bridge B+ and FP and that's stopped the car from cutting out. Which means it's obviously a fuelling problem. What other checks can I do to find out what exact component needs replacing? Or does this test narr...

Cutting out after 20/30 seconds???
Hi all, my rev3 turbo keeps cutting out and the car is now stranded on a public road. It starts no problem at all but after 20 or so seconds just cuts out. Idles fine while running. Was running like a dream yesterday. Have checked all the vacuum hoses I can see from above and everything looks fine. ...

[Mk2] [Generic] Refurbished power steering rack?
Hi all, does anyone know of a company that sells refurbished power steering racks for the MK2?
I'm doing some fault finding on a rattle on mine but I want to have all avenues covered so I can get one ASAP if needed.

[Mk2] [Generic] Relay clicking behind dash.
Hi all, this morning I tried to start my car but the battery was flat, jumpedit and it fired up no problem. There is however a relay clicking behind the dash (stereo area) maybe this has been ticking away for the last week (since it was last started) and caused the battery to drain? Anyway, I've rem...
