is the downpipe under guarantee?.if so get that part exchanged.if not you could try bending it yourself.eg,get the exhaust hot...carefully undo bolts and use a metal bar to move it away from sump...

have a look around homebase,b&q etc they have a few different types.
i used one from there when i fitted the strips back on mine.

not sure on size but part number is t90916-03100
you will need a gasket as well part number t16325-62010.
i paid 23 quid for both both in 2007!
