Re: Tyre choices

All the Yokohamas come up like Toyo r888's ie track day tyres which would be no good on the road for all round use. Really need to know if opinions have changed or are proxies still the tyre of choice for folks with standard wheel set ups.

I need some new rears on my tubby ( standard rev 5 rims ) as it's getting very squirmy at the back and I have 3mm of tread left. I was going to go for the normal toyo proxies t1r 225 50 15 v but then wondered what else was around apart from falkens. I hear that you may be able to get Yokohamas in th...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev5 Tubby standard wheel-nut part number

Thanks for the offer - its very kind, but the rev 5 nuts are a different length from all the other revisions - the rev 1-2 are short...the rev 3 and 4 are very much longer...and the rev5 ones are the shortest!!..

Why-ever they didn't make them all the same size with the wheel inserts baffles me!!..

[Mk2] [Turbo] Upgrading Suspension

Hi - I've got a Rev3 GTS that is producing 300 BHP and don't want to take this any higher. The car is used on the road - and will not be tracked and is an every day driver. As its used on the road - and Lincoln shire is littered with speed bumps everywhere I don't really want to lower the car any mo...

[Mk2] [Generic] Rev 4 Diamond cut centre caps

Having my rev 4 diamond cut wheels completely refurbished for summer, and the refurbishers wont touch the centre caps. At first glance they look like metal, but appear to be a plastic coating. Does anyone know how to refurbish these or know a part number for Mr T?

Cheers
