How to remove washer jets???

Probably an easy one, but Im not 100% and dont want to break the thing.

How do you remove the windscreen washer jets on a mk2? They keep getting blocked so fancy taking them out and giving them a good clean.

Thanks :D

Recon Turbo Unit

Hi,

Mate of mine has broken his turbo =D> due to oil starvation by the looks of it.

Its a Rev1 turbo, so I think this is the CT26 unit? Anyhoo, where is the best and most economial place to get a hold of these either new, but preferably reconditioned?

Cheers

Re: What is the 3S-GTE block made from?

3S-GE BEAMS is aluminium alloy block, but you will have an iron block being a turbo; as said before, iron stronger but heavier, but better suited to forced induction as it can take much bigger stresses, all depending if the engine internals are stronger of course :D

Re: LEVEL PEGGING WITH A 1.2 FIESTA!!!!!

I had a 1.25 Zetec a few years ago, this will be the same engine as your mates car (the 1.3 engine is landfill). It was actually pretty swift, and believe it or not both your cars have somethng in common - a Yamaha designed head. The 1.25 is a very smooth, sweet little engine, so Im not totally surp...

Re: Rev 3 rear lights (easy question)?

Yeah, well depends if the police cops in question are in a good mood or bad. If they are in a bad, bored mood, I might get a vehicle rectification notice to get it fixed, or a fine, but dont think you can get any points as such......... Brake lights work fine; have the 3rd brake light also. Its just...

Re: Rev 3 rear lights (easy question)?

Thought id try hijack this post as my query is similar........... My Rev 5 rear lights are similar to Mikey's in that its just the outer lights that are used for the normal lights on mode. But heres the weird bit(s), the inner red lights do not come on when braking, but instead act as indicators! (y...

Re: Coughing and spluttering when raining....GRRRRRR

Hi,

If I can be any help to you, I have a Rev 5 Beams, with the engine in as standard, as I believe yours is a transplant.

Only had the car around 3 weeks so im no expert, but can try my best if there are any wires which maybe should be going somewhere else etc....!

Cheers

Ross
