Re: Garage Clear-Out

How much for the centre console bit with the air vents? Any cracks or scratches? Mine has clearly had cup holders on them both and some plonker has ripped them off and snapped some of the fins.

Re: SW20 parts rev 3 turbo

I think if I buy anything else off you, I'll have your full car soon  You got a spare water hose? It's the chunky one that is on the left hand side of the engine bay in the middle that leads down. Also after the pipe that comes from the turbo itself as mine has a split in it from a numpty tight...

That's a great price! Is that a brand new rebuild with stock internals?

Re: Car sways when turning left only on a long slow bend!?

I've recently had something that sounds similar with my tubby. It turned out to be failing struts on the rears, along with spherical bearing arms on the back which were dangerous with stock suspension. My car had coilovers robbed off the car before I bought it, so stock arms should have gone back on...

Re: TOM'S 96 Rev 3 GTS - BREAK ME UP, BEFORE YOU GO GO

Yeah no problem I'll grab some later, they don't touch the door or the centre console, it's a tight fit but there's room to squeeze a hand in to bolt them to the side mounts :thumleft: Cheers dude, appreciate that. Subbed btw, keep the updates coming. p.s. Love the wheels. If you ever decide to cha...

Interior Cleaning

Since I got the car, I've noticed some dodgy brown stains on the roof material. It looks like oil from when a careless mechanic has been at it in the past.

Any suggestions to some aggressive cleaning foam guys?

Re: TOM'S 96 Rev 3 GTS - BREAK ME UP, BEFORE YOU GO GO

Thanks mate, I remember seeing your car for sale when it was imported, it's really nice! From memory I think I paid £280 for my seat, and another £120 for the mount from rogue but it seems the seats have been reduced now http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=796 Which is...

Re: TOM'S 96 Rev 3 GTS - BREAK ME UP, BEFORE YOU GO GO

Looks superb man! Loved reading the whole thread. I've just recently got a white rev5 tubby with a full TOMs kit too. Definitely the best colour for that particular kit, looks stunning! :thumleft: How much were your seats btw? They look nice and wide too. No problems with the door catching them when...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo Options

It's a gauge and separate o2 sensor. Assuming you have a downpipe you should have a spare port to fit the sensor at the bottom of it. It needs to read afrs about 2-3foot from the turbo. Handy, all the aftermarket downpipes have this bung welded in. Unless of course you have a blitz downpipe and you...

I need a third gauge for my Stack pod actually. Maybe I should get a wideband in anyway. Where do they need to be connected Jim?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo Options

Don't think there's anyone in the UK that does a billet CT20. There are some options in the us but they want a CT20 core which is a bit much to ship a broken turbo across the sea. I've seen a CT20b with a choice of different stages or specs being sold at mr2-ben today for the first time. That's pre...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Clutch making strange noises

So do we reckon it's a part of the clutch then? There is zero slip in any gear even at full boost, just that weird noise occasionally when on the biting point.
