so are you fitting the cheery arch to the mr2s inner arch then tacing the outer skin to the inner? Thus the arch is now a single skin rather than two?

makes you wonder why toyota don't start repressing them & knocking them out through the dealers, there must be a high enough demand what with the worldwide spread of MR2's

as alreadys been said, in a odd kinda way its fortunate it is such a unusual part if/when it does turn up it'll be pretty obvious.

Is there anyone local you your parents that has a 2 or corolla it might be worth a visit with some friends.

yeh TDG seem pricey at first but once you factor in time, labour etc they do actually work out pretty cheap.

I'm really after a set for mine, I had them on a old car of mine & I found them brilliant, had them wired in so when you turned off the ignition they folded, soo useful when parking in carparks with fat arses walking past nudging the mirror out of place - its always the nearside & you always...

HT - I'm pretty sure I have the wiring diagrams on file somewhere so that wouldn't be a real problem. Just wondering about the availibility of the switch & IIRC you need a relay - where is that located normally? I've oftern thought about the Mk2 mirrors but if you compare the Standard Mk1 mirror...

FFFFFolding Mirrors

I've been offered a Pair of Power Folding Mirrors I think very cheap - sub £100. Trouble is its just the mirrors, no loom, no switch.

Is it still worth the money? as I suspect those who sell will not want to sell the switch seperate?

I'd agree the ETC is for the Auto box, If it were me I'd leave it disconnected completely & give it a trial run. If all works fine, great, if not its worth looking into more.
