Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Import stereo connections?
Ooops maybe more like 15 minutes.
Forgot you have to remove the rear console box and the centre console. All that to get at 2 screws that hold the head unit surround in.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Import stereo connections?
You need to remove the gear surround to get at some screws for the the section of dash that surrounds the headunit.
Takes 5-10 minutes to remove and is easily done, you shouldn't even break a finger nail.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Problem with Cam Cover
If you suspect that a cam cover has been shot blasted or been contaminated with sand what choices are there other than binning it? The cam cover is from a Rev3. MY concerns are that when I was inspecting it I turned it upside down and some sand fell out of the ventilation pipe that leads to the oil ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What does oil around spark plugs indicate?
That's if there is black soot on the spark plugs. Depends on how close a look he has had of the spark plugs. If it's definately oil then this IS NOT caused by overfueling and may point to a more serious matter that needs addressing immediatly.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] RevIII Turbo - Rear Fog Light?
The Rev3 turbo as standard does not have a fog light because in Japan it isn't a legal requirement. That said when your car was imported a fog light should have been installed in order for it to pass the SVSA and get it's first MOT certificate. Most people have a bolt on one that's attached to the g...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What does oil around spark plugs indicate?
Compare your spark plugs to this:
Spark Plug Condition
From the way you describe it you either have too much oil in the engine or your piston rings are worn allowing oil to get into the combustion chamber.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Question for those who've fitted Fidanza flywheel (or other LWFW)
No it shouldn't slop around. When you line the holes up with the crank there should only be one or two that have the bolt sitting in the middle. The rest will be against the edge of the hole so stopping it from slopping about.
I have the same flywheel on my car and no problems with it.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Carbon side vents/scoops ??
Don't quite understand your post.
The scoops shown in your picture are carbon fibre and as it says on the photo are provided by Chaser Aerodynamics.
Their website is http://www.aerokits.net/MR2/indexmr2.htm
They look exactly like the ones in the photo that Matt has posted, once fitted.

You rotate it until the holes line up. The holes are oval because you have the flywheel that will fit both the 3sgte and the 5sfe.

Do you mind spilling the beans on how you mounted the CC then or are you wanting to keep it a secret.
What's the make and model of the Pump then?

Re: [All] [Generic] I cannot put a post on the parts for sale??
As IMOC has now officially gone to a Ltd company then they have a company bank account. You can PM one of the Committee members and get the details and then set up a D/D. Once the money is sent just PM them telling them it has been sent and they'll be able to activate your premium membership.

You could always state in here that you are thinking of breaking the car, list the parts and ask for PM from anyone interested.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Out with old beast in with the new.PARTS NOW IN 4 SALE SECTION
Hmmm, yup too rich for my blood. The one from the states is $650 with very similar CC. The only annoying thing with it is having to figure out how to mount it and then getting the brackets welded to the core. I'm curious about the cc pump you're using though. Is it 75gpm as stated in your garage and...
