[Mk2] [Turbo] HELP - with radiator again

I've just received my new radiator through the post and all looks good apart from the drainage ports. The drainage port at the top right hand corner as you look at the radiator is the one that is used for bleeding the coolant system and making sure that there are no air blocks in the system. Problem...

Re: My MR2 - the dark destroyer

Nathan Congratulations on the times. I love what you've done with the screamer pipe as well. I had wanted to do the same with the exhaust as well but the chassis gets in the way of having the exhaust and screamer pipe exit there. Would you mind taking some pictures of the rear of the sill showing ho...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Help !!!! Radiator expert

Thanks Rowland.

I was working mainly from under the car anyway. The hoses are a complete B**ch to get off. Skinned at least a couple of knuckles.

Johnny thanks for the link.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Help !!!! Radiator expert

I've just removed my radiator this evening but it was a complete hassle. Couple of questions. 1. The fans mounting clips broke, do these come with the replacement radiator or am I going to have to order some new ones. 2. The radiator seems to locate on 2 rubber covered holes on the chassis. Is it bo...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] HKS SSQV whats the gen?

You can buy a recirculating kit for the HKS SSQV but that kind of defies the point of getting one. If you want a recirculating BOV then you can't really do any better than the original one. If you buy from the right place then the SSQV will come with the adapter to fit the BOV in the same place as t...

I've had an Aussie downpipe on my car for 4 years with the bracket installed and no cracks at all.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Overheating issue

Anyone able to shed some light on this one. Drive the car at anything upto about 85 and the temp gauge stays on half way. Bear in mind in the past I could do 145 and the temp guage would never move from half way. Now Saturday I was driving along around 95 (please keep your comments about speeding to...

Re: New Trader Feedback system and Trader Dispute forum

Hi John On the face of it this seems to be a lot better however there is a major flaw in the trader feedback system you want to implement. If we are allowed to vote only once in a year for a particular company then any one with any sense will wait until the end of December before placing their votes...

Revise how negative feedback in Traders Feedback section is dealt with

As there seems to have been several instances of threads being locked in the Traders Feedback section when negative comments are involved maybe it is time to revise the system. Perhaps making it so that a person reports negative feedback to the committee asking for a thread to be opened. The committ...

I think that might be because you have rights to access parts of your site we can't. Tried it in both IE and Firefox and I just get the Index page.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] where to get bolts

The bolt kits on ebay are just for the cam cover. If you need bolts to attach things like the oil pump, water pump etc., then I think the best place will be MR T even if they pull your pants down.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] where to get bolts

I'm in the position. I've just stripped down a spare block ready for it to be sleeved and a turned into a 2.2ltr. Already had a spare head P&P'd and built up.

Figured I'd have to search through the manual and make a list and then put in an order with MR T.
