Re: civic type r...again
Please people , rember... BHP does not determin the rate of acceleration of a car. it mearly measures its physical pulling power. The Torque is what creates acceleration.. And if you compare a 200bhp N/A to a 200bhp Turbo, the Turbo will have LOADS more torque. an example is, i have a 2ltr converted...

Re: Squeezing out more power.. well another 50bhp??
Its a blitz 380 turbo, 380 bhp capable, err, im not 100% on the spec as i didnt get the car too long ago, and im not 100% up to scratch on the parts.. but i do belive (and will check) that it has forged pistons in it, must have to run 1.6bar and not pop! by racing gas, do you mean nitrous? would tha...

I have tien coilovers on my rev3 tubby -they are from about 1997 i fink, and the ar$e end feels really bouncy.. iv herd the tubbys are a bit bouncy on the back anyway, but surely the tiens would fix this? i dont no exactly how bouncy it is in a tubby with std suspension, but if you boot mine up a ev...

Re: civic type r...again
I had a bmw M3 convertable pull up beside me the other week, and we blatently see him say to his gf 'Nice bodykit but i bet its slow!' then he booted it off the lights, (i was laughing and didnt realise it went amber , so he got head start) then my turbo kicked in and i sat behind him snaking like a...

Re: 6-speed box on tubby
will the 9% make much difference to the acceleration of the car? im not tooo botherd about top end really, i just enjoy the pull of the acceleration. but 1st gear does seem a bit short to be honest... and 5th is a bit Revvy at 70mph... i can watch the fuel gague drop! lol

Re: t-bar or hard top
tintop turbos have a strut bar as standard. and the t-bars are NOT as rigid as a tintop. t-bar for the poser, tintop for the driver ;) [-X But not everyone is going to rag the boobs off there car on every bend they meet!! the slight extra stiffness of a tin top would only benifit someone using the ...

Re: t-bar or hard top
I personally recon the T-Bar is the better version to the Tintop, as it is exactly the same, yet has the posing ability should you want to use it, and has a rear strut brace as std :P dont really flex any more than a tintop neither. feels less confined too.. and its kinda romantic, being able to par...
