iv just fitted a altenator of a 3s-ge Celica works just fine on mine but i did have 2 fit the cast bracket of my old N/A engine cos the top adjuster is about 5mm out on the turbo bracket :thumleft: just mind there are 2 diff plugs on the bk of the alternator some have a round one and some have a ova...

best way 2 stick the trim back down is to use proper window bond thats what we used when i worked at national windscreens. if theres one near u pop in and they will prob do it for a few quid. That way if the window ever needs to come out it wont be a prob

yeh a do know that mate i am a forestry engineer. so i do know about the exciter wire mate. all i want 2 know is are the turbo and N/A pulleys the same!!and the reason the N/A alternator was put on was because the engine i had didnt have 1 !! plus how will it be spining slower if the engine is runin...
