Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] max boost pressure
Max boost on a Rev 1 mate is 1 bar or 14.5psi but your gonna need a FCD to get it there as soon as you reach 13psi fuel cut will cut in. After you go over 16psi the ecu can't read it properly thanks to the AFM and throws the 440cc injectors on 100% duty cycle. To go any high your gona have to start ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Cooling system pics
Well the top picture (half moon one as you call it) fits as you know on to the inlet manifold and you have the water pipes from the throttle body going to it and also a breather pipe. They then link in to the hard metal pipes that run by the side of your block that sits just above the gearbox. Which...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New turbo - setting boost and running in
Yeah the old boost control is out of the picture now as you've disconnected it. Even if you set the profec controller low the actuator will still be set to 12psi anyway so it won't of made any difference dude. Like i say just take it easy and get the turbo use to being under temps and you'll be fine...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] New turbo - setting boost and running in
Yeah if your Profrc is switched off and you have an uprated actuator then it will boost to what ever the actuator is set to, so in your case thats 12psi. Should be fine to tell you truth as when the unit are re-conned they are tested to silly rpm anyway before the units leave the factory. So don't w...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Upgrade from AC to Auto Climate Control possible?
Yes e con is econamy air con. it switches the crompressor on and off to help save fuel. when the senor detects that the air temp coming through the vent has started to increase if switches the air compressor back on to cool the air down again.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] converting to rev three abs
Anyone got an update on this i would also like to know for my rev 1 tubby. I must admit i don't find the ABS too much of a problem just it does cut in sometimes if your braking hard slightly turning a corner. But i do have 17" wheels which i also believe doesn't help the ABS

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Time for a hybrd stage 2 me thinks
Well stage 1 cost me £820 in exchange of my old turbo. They paid for all the courier fee's inc deliver and pick up of my old turbo 2 days later after i had got my old unit off. I just called to say it was off and they picked it up the next day. Stage 1 gives you 360 degree trust baring, steel shaft ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Time for a hybrd stage 2 me thinks
Turbo Technic's hybrids, in my opinion and many others (Mark Edwards used one of their hybrids) are regarded as one if not the best hybrids out there. I have there stage 1 (for now  ) they only do 2 stages. I had to get my CT26 reconditioned so i went for one of their hybrids. I was and sti...
