The water temp sensor in the front is for the fans only. The temp sensor for the water is near the side of your head just about your gearbox. When you plant your foot down you are increasing the water rate and the air bubbles will hit your temp sensor and possibly collect there hence why your temp g...

If your boost is higher than standard i.e around 15-19 psi (rev 3) you should be able to set the timing at 12 as apposed to 10 degrees.
