has anyone stripped the rear mk1 calipers without a sst tool? is it possible without it? got to do it tomorrow

what grease should i use to rebuild calipers normal copper grease or is there another type better for the pistons?

mine have rusted through badly, just waiting for toyota to get back to me with a price for new ones if they have any,

anyone got some lying about in ok condition?

can you use a standard gearbox and just put your lsd in that instead would be much cheaper or are there other differences too?

should be able to get it rebuilt for about £100

i m changing the brake hoses at the moment, and some of the clips and cir clips broke

anyone replaced them with something else of find spares?

should be but think the previous owner liked filler! thinking about welding it up or maybe vauxhall carlton bumper

early 1985 think mines full of filler then on the corner have to get the welder out i guess!

the front spoiler below the main bumper part is that metal or grp etc like bumper?
