Was sprayed at a bodyshop where my brother works - they allowed me to use all the tools and materials I needed and I just paid for paint, box of discs, top stop and booth time. Colour was mixed on site using the Super Red II (Chilli) formula using Dupont 2-pack paint. 2 ...

Thanks for the info, only nervous in the fact I dont want to smash my newly painted 2 into anything. Im in no way going to be racing people in it (its a 3S-FE) so im not planning on being on the edge of grip limit but some people seem to make it sound as if 'normal' driving is still erratic and chuc...

So if I use some spacers on my non staggered wheels I will be better off than without spacers. I dont want to end up in a tree.

Mines exactly the same, brother is a sprayer and did it for cost of materials. Mine is also let down by the wheels hehe. Interesting being able to see the painting being done too, and learnt alot about prep etc. Sick of rubbing down tho...it was never ending.

Well done, its nice to see a car with so many miles on and still looking and driving great. People dont give engines (which have been looked after properly) enough credit and think that at 100k its on its deathbed.

Nothing wrong with Super Red, I stayed red for exactly the same reasons although mine has taken about 4months not 4days.

Bumper was bought off a guy who had hit a badger in it and repaired (bodged) WHilst fitting front indicators I have put a little crack in (boohoo) Anyway, most bits back on now just exhaust to go, heres a few pics. Lights are too heavily tinted so will have to be changed (anyone tried Lamin-X???) ht...
