Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] xs power IC vs Greddy IC

Before I fitted my xs power intercooler I had it next to a greddy one and it was very hard to tell the difference (or the berk one I think this is also very similar) as all are the same size, number of fins etc. I can’t imagine there would be any performance difference between the 2 as the xs power ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] CT20b Maximum boost / flow at 1.3 -1.5 bar

i would guess you would have to up the fueling at that sort of boost but my turbo is still pulling very strong at 1.2 so i am sure there is abit more to be had out of the turbo its self.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Price guide

as posted above i think my one fits your bill very well already tuned to make about 300fly bhp. As said this is a fairly easy amount to get on a rev3 onwards car and keeps it reliable

Re: rev3 tubby fast road / track ready

Having had a quick look round the other for sale adds I see there are a couple of similar rev3s cars on here for around the £4k mark and just over (look like nice examples too). I am willing to sell mine for a similar price to any of the other examples found on here for a quick sale even though I th...

Re: rev3 tubby fast road / track ready

Ok I put down a deposit on my next car last night and hope to collect it early next week so I will therefore require a quick sale and will consider reasonable offers. Although I have had a moderate amount of interest, no one has been to view the car yet but I am sure the first person to view it / te...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Stuck on which clutch to go with

Go for an uprated clutch if you feel the need, but the excedy ones on ebay for £99.00 do the job better than a stock clutch and will be fine for your needs i would have thought.

Re: rev3 tubby fast road / track ready

I have reduced the price by £500 now, note this is a refection of the current market and no way a reflection in the condition of the car which is still a very good example and in my opinion still well worth the £5000 but I would quite like to sell it in the near future. so its now £4499. :thumleft:

Re: rev3 tubby fast road / track ready

Thanks for all the positive comments people. I really don’t think I can bring myself to start selling off parts separately (even though it’s the financially sensible thing to do). I am selling to get something cheaper to run as I am still commuting 40 miles a day and my mortgage fixed term finishes ...

Re: rev3 tubby fast road / track ready

I have quite a few people ask what’s the best price on this, I really think you need to come view and test drive the car before you ask for money off. I am considering putting it back to stock and selling as a stock car then the parts separately as I think I would get more money this way. Although I...

yeah will have no problems with out front fogs for mr2. What you really want is the 3fse bumper that covers the gaps where the fogs go.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Well...it was always going to happen

I have no idea who mapped your new ECU and it might be a coincidence but it does sound strange the engine went so soon after having a new ECU fitted to the car, as you say rest of the modifications are on the safe side of tuning a rev3 turbo. I would defiantly be factoring in a remap when installing...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Well...it was always going to happen

Sorry to hear that I would consider just getting a second hand engine put in there probably cheaper than forged internals and will not require such regular rebuilds. What boost control were you running as I have heard this sort of thing is sometimes caused by the boost spiking due to manual boost co...
