Re: Black limited or just black

Indeed, in fact a lot of Mk1 owners i've met over the years aren't even aware of Imoc/Mk1 club etc The rarest one i've seen in person was a white Mk1a, on a Northern Irish 84 plate, with the chassis number ending 007, it came to the garage about 7 years ago needing welding work but i was too busy t...

Re: Black limited or just black

We had a black limited turn up at the garage a few years ago, i didn't realise what it was at the time or i'd have taken more interest. well i'd have bet good money that there weren't any black ltds in the uk, just goes to show the there would seem to be more rare cars outside the club network than...

Re: Black limited or just black

Black limited has been talked about so much on here i'm suprised Lauren hasn't heard of it before. I think a lot of people really want one! Lauren has almost certainly seen and posted on previous threads about black ltd in the past, but like the rest of us the girl ain't as young as she once was, b...

Re: Black limited or just black

Ah. My reference to run out model was due to the AE86 Black Limited being a run out model. Interesting, I've never seen one I admit. Any idea how many were made? think were only talking a couple of hundred, but it is an elusive model not much info about, but like i say as per for T specials it wasn...

Re: Black limited or just black

Was there actually a 'Black Limited' MR2? yes the limited part as per for the big T was how many "special" extras it had, logos, different colour graphics on the clocks & maybe seat upholstery thats about it as for it being a run out model Lauren it was infact an early 1A "specia...

OK first thing to consider is that digital photographs always make a car look better than it is secondly that car has by the looks had quite a bit of paintwork done and not to a good standard, anyone who either cant be bothered to remove or at the very least mask off the trim strips on the front win...

Re: 7age build

One thing which does concern me is that with the block being taller, im hoping that the engine and sump dont sit to low. That'll be the least of your problems, the V6 and 3s-gte motors are much taller than a 4a-ge and fit fine in a Mk1. From memory you'll need a different cambelt but apart from tha...

it was mentioned that the karmeleon turbo may have once been owned by wayne duncan, (the guy with the blue car on wheeler dealers) wayne doesn't frequent these parts at all these days, there may be someone in the northwest area who is still in contact with wayne who might steer him your way
