Must have been a different car mate couldn't of been me you were following cos I have a receipt at home from Kwick-fit after wheel balancing stating "Toyota MR2 1400cc" (so 3 figure speeds are out of the question!!) :shock:

Cheers for that mate, I am going to have a go at setting the timing at 12 degrees JJ said it makes a huge difference so fingers crossed.
As for the Super-unleaded tried that before & the car run really rough but could have been a bad batch so will give it another try.

Glad you sorted it mate I really felt for you on Saturday with all that smoke. :?
I was panicking on the way home as I ended up with Steve (The Jinx) in my passenger seat (after what he did to yours when you took him out!!!!!) but I didn't go over 30mph so the car stayed in tact!! :lol:

That was from Fensport who are normally really good price wise but may be able to get it cheaper just thought i'd see what people thought before wasting time shopping round. :lol:

Hello All Just after a bit more poke out of the old N/A Has anyone on here fitted an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (Boost Valve) :?: If so do you think it's worth £98 :shock: & how much difference have you found it's made to the overall performance :?: Any Advice Apreciated Thanks Si :wink:

Had a similar knowledge-less Kwick Fit moment when I got the receipt given back to me for Wheel balancing & Saw my car details printed on as Toyota MR2 1.4 :shock:

Spotted a Yellow Mk2 very low with what looked like Azev Alloys on
parked ouside Liddle at colburn Sunday afternoon. (|Couldn't of been doing a huge shop though as there is only so much you can fit in that boot!! :wink:

I just thought it was quite competitive, obviously wrong!! :oops:
So from what you've said I will deffinately have a go on the next one as don't think i'll be able to get my suspension ( & brakes now) sorted in time. :(

I just didn't want to be shown up by the big turbo boys thats all!! :oops:
But at the moment my rear shocks are on their last legs so best not risk it will certainly look forward to a passenger ride though & no doubt that will encourage me to get my car sorted for the next one. :D

I will definitely be going but not competing unfortunately as my N/A is just not up to the challenge :( & would like to drive home afterwards!
