Re: [Mk2] [NA] suggestions for courier who will collect/deliver alloys

There are courier services on ebay for alloy wheels. Usually around 40-50 quid.

I've used them before and they tend to be very good.

Parcel force quote sounds about right though.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] 2Fast2Cool - Anyone dealt with them?

Yes i've dealt with him twice, once for the mr2 once for the scoob. Both times hes shipped fast and had good coms. He sent me the scooby downpipe but it didnt fit my exhaust (already aftermarket) so i emailed him, he said send it back and he will refund. I did and he did straight away. Can't fault t...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] spot the modification

part of me thinks millie miglia if they're faux split rim stylee, might be worth trying army mr2 as i believe they work for elite and should know plenty about wheels I'm sure you can get wheels in a very similar style, if not identical to them anyway. Just email a wheel place with a pic of those wh...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Standard BOV problem

I've got a standard bov sitting in the garage i took off my car if anyone needs one. Also a little bit of advice, if anyones looking for the one way valve go to your local petstore and go to the fishtank section. For about 1.50 you can get the same thing. I had one on mine for ages and did the job f...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Failed MOT - Handbrake unsatisfactory

Sorry my post sounded a bit harsh. All i'm saying is that i've gone through all this myself, I adjusted old cables but they still never really held, just had less clicks. I would replace anyway, treat it like a seriveable item, they wear out. I was lucky when mine snapped, I'd just called in a chipp...

I have this problem. Full throttle through all the gears and all is ok. If I'm driving down the road and want to overtake drop down a gear and splutter / hesitation etc. I'm going to book my car in at Rogue for a full service. Apparently MR2 Turbo's eat ignition components so thats where I would lo...

This was glowing red but the dodgy camera phone made it purple.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Failed MOT - Handbrake unsatisfactory

I guarantee it's your cables, I did everything on mine to try and get my handbrake to work properly and nothing worked, It wasnt until a cable snapped and i replaced it that i found out it's the cables that make your handbrake naff.

I got mine from a local motor factors for 30 quid a side

Re: [Mk2] [NA] spot the modification

It's much easier to mask off the surrounding area and spray them on the car. Taking them off is a pain in the ass imo and you run the risk of bending them slightly, then they'll never look any good.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] noob question about fitting bodykit

Silkoflex or Tigerseal is about the best stuff for bonding your side skirts on with, Theres no real need to screw it on anywhere. Your side strips will hold the rear half on and the sealer will run down by your door, a few blobs on the inside of your arches and your done. Front and rear use exsistin...
