Hi Rob

I went same route getting a sump from Ben

i was playing with taking the level sensor out of the old leaky one but I always check before & after a drive so chose to leave it

Just a thought worth looking at my last 2 it wasn't a crunch but a noticeable noise into 3rd I checked the bushes at the end of the selector cable.... both had slots rather than a round hole!!! I used skateboard bearing, just had to play about with the washers to move them over a tad, but the "...

I would concurr tough time to be selling at least private car sales

I have guitars for sale and ive given up until things get back back to sort of normality

Hang in there Im sure people pent up for 12 months the market will bounce back at some point

I don't think the MR2 type of rear screen is suitable to obtain a good radio reception. I have installed an electronic aerial behind the rear view mirror and masked it from outside view by attaching a small area of non-metallic dot film in front of it on the glass. Works well and I removed the date...

Hi there As many cars use the heated rear screen as an aerial, I wondered if anyone has done this on their 2? Ive seen on a civic forum people using a ford sierra unit that appears to work All my company cars over the last 15 years have used this method Just throwing it out there :-) Regards Brian

Hi Im not familiar with the MK1 but i would have thought you really need an alternator on? if you do get it running you will soon drain the battery off. maybe try a separate electrical feed to the pump i suspect if its been stood so long the pump itself could be at fault, but if you have no voltage ...
