1999 Mk3 Engine

I have a 1999 Mk3 with a blown engine and looking for an engine replacement

No upgrades or engines conversions on this one.

Does anyone know if the Avensis 1.8 vvti 1zz-fe engine will fit?

Cheers

Re: 1998 Ford fiesta

I have a 97 1.25 Zetec that I bought off a guy in work for £50 three years ago with 70K on the clock. Its now got 110K on the clock and not broke down once. Still on its original wishbones and clutch.

Would def have another but its not getting in next to the Supercharger in the garage !!! :)

Re: AM I WASTING MY TIME???

Well I have a S/C a 1.5 and a N/A. They are all good and have different qualities attached to each. I enjoy working on the 1.5 and get a great satisfaction knowing its all my own work even if its not mint. Wether its restoring, modding or just plain driving the 2 the main thing is to enjoy it. My 1....

Re: Rear toe arms - same across all models?

If you are looking for rear tie rod end ball joints when rebuilding your suspension then BMW 5 series pre 89 are the ones to ask for at the local factors. They have a left hand thread on them and cost £9 as opposed to £40 + VAT at Toyota. Make sure you ask for the inner rod ends as you need the left...

Re: EDIT bought it..PICS of my new red SC conversion...PG4

Donna I live in Motherwell not far from you and I have a 1.5 although not on the road yet due to my laziness in getting it sprayed. Most its had to date is a rattle up and down the driveway. Its a lot of work and not for the faint hearted as being up in Scotland you have to go on the twobrutal site ...
