Re: Apexi PFC problem. Car wont start with commander connect

If I plug the commander in when the engine is running the revs drop slightly then raise back to normal after a split second. However if I try and start the car with the commander plugged in the engine turns over but doesnt fire. Rory I get the first part with my PFC, but not the second. HTH Derek

Re: Should IC pipes be wrapped?

Ally pipes are designed to discipate the head out I think so wrapping them would cause it to be trapped in the pipes and gradually get warmer and warmer. Some one correct me if I'm wrong. Better probably to wrap the hot side of the turbo. That might be true if the heat was coming from inside the pi...

Re: apexi powerfc extension cable

Hello, I have just done this for my Power Fc and you DO need to remove a pin and the centre plastic bit for it to fit in the ECU, the commander side is fine. I got one from Ebay for 99p plus postage. You will need at least a 2M cable, I used a 3M and it works great. I also bought the Apexi commander...

Re: opinion on turbo conversion by rouge systems

Hello,

I had a N/A to Turbo Conversion done by Rouge.

Yes I would highly recommend them.
Patrick and Matt are very helpful.
They are not cheap, but worth every penny.

I drove from Paisley (just outside Glasgow) to get mine done.

Mine are on all the time.

Don't make any difference when driving at motorway speeds but when stopped or in slow traffic the engine is cooler.

Re: Tein Flex and 215/45/17 on the front???

I have this set up on my car and the tyres did not clear the coilovers until I put 5 mm spacers on the front.
I have 17" Lexus is200 wheels.
