I have just the same problem with my Blue Flame back boxes on my Rev 5 turbo, but I am going to reduce the diameter of the outlet pipes by removing the 4 inch slash cut tailpipes and having new double skin 3 inch tailpipes weled in place to see if it alters the noise at that rev range.

Great to meet you all and see your great cars, cannot get my head around Dan's food intake tho, I wonder if there is a plague of tape worms at his uni. Came along the A52 on the way home only to be mugged by a red rev 2 Turbo given it all 6000 revs to get across the front of me and park on my bonnet...

I bought my Rev 5 Turbo which is fitted with an HKS SSQV and i cringed all the way home due to the stupid woooooshhhh noise that it made, even at low revs. It made me drive slower because I hated the noise. I understand that they are a quality product so I contacted an HKS supplier to buy an adaptor...
