My offices are above PowerStation but they are more Subaru than Toyota and didn't even want to do a cam belt a year or so ago!!

[Mk2] [Turbo] Nearest MR2 Specialist - Cheltenham, Glos

Following on from this thread http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=91413 it may be a good idea for me to seek out a backup plan... So, who would be (or where can I find) the nearest MR2 specialist to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire? Have used 3S Services before and would go there but car is next...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Help with putting MR2 back together!!

Bit of a strange request but here goes... I'm looking for some (local) help in putting our MR2 Turbo engine back in the car with a little assembly http://www.canong3.co.uk/mr2/mr2_engine1.jpg Basically, last year I pulled the motor out and had a full rebuild done on that but have lost momentum and g...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ~£500ish to spend on Turbo?

Very true... but finding one and a GOOD could be a problem? Is it just a case of keeping a look out on the usual places for a used one or is there an easy(ish) place to nab one?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Standard Clutch?

Am looking for a standard MR2 Turbo (Rev2) clutch and wondered where's a good place to get it from? It is best to go for OEM parts or something like the £150 kit that Camskill do?

Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] engine management

Well for a start the Unichip can only control injectors upto 540cc I believe so that would be out... For that kind of setup I'd have thought standalone ECU would make sense, not sure if ANY piggyback ECU can control 800cc injectors?! Would be interested to see what others think as we'll be running l...
