Clockwise as you look at the cambelt side? I've been reading that it should go the opposite direction to the way the belt turns?

Been reading that retarding the exhaust timing will yield more top end on the 3s-gte. Am I right in thinkng I need to rotate the cam anti-clockwise to the engine cycle?

Seen that just skipping the exhust cam one tooth is best is this correct to around 6 degrees anti-clockwise?

I'd reccomend spraying too. Have you thought about colour coding it with the body? Either way if you do the prep well and wet and dry properly and take you time spraying you can get a very good finish. I just touched up many black panels on mine with some tins and am very pleased with all the spray ...
