Re: Are rev3 turbo HT leads the same as rev3 NA?

I see, Personally I wouldn't bother. If there is nothing wrong with your turbo ones, leave them alone. The magnacors might be OK on the n/a, but be shafted on the turbo.

I did also point out the king leads fail on magnacors. Honestly buy the Toyota ones bud. Much better quality.

Re: Are rev3 turbo HT leads the same as rev3 NA?

If the spark strength is crap, the engine cannot produce the power. Misfiring occurs, job fooked.

Anything else?

Re: Are rev3 turbo HT leads the same as rev3 NA?

Stock leads did 635bhp..... Magnacors failed at 400ish. I'd say that's conclusive. The king lead usually fails first on magnacors. As I said, thay are crap.

As above, they are crap. Stock leads are the best.

Re: Forged rebuild street mr2

Yeah, that will be fine.

You could even just use a sidemount IC and WI if you want to keep it simple and the weight down. :thumleft:

Kitch has been running over 2 Bar on a GT3082R for years like this. Over 500bhp.

3071 is way too small. Take forever to get the boost through the pipework and cooler. Lag will be an understatement.

Top mount or sidemount IC will be much better for street driving and do the same job.

Re: Forged rebuild street mr2

Not sure the 205 cc will take the boost required, and cool efficiently. Sell that, buy an Ebay CC core and build one. Andy F did this years ago, core was about £70, did over 500bhp.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Maximum power on stock internals?

Agree with both of you :thumleft:

Not sure about the original question... I did 320bhp on my old Rev 3 with CT20B at 1.3 bar. That was stock internals. (with WI)

Re: Forged rebuild street mr2

On a 3071 with your goals, don't bootmount.
