Re: How do I remove the washer jets?

insulation tape on the outside around the jets (to protect the paint)

then clamp a mole grip on the jet and twist / wiggle / destroy it till it comes off ?

EDIT:

scratch that - a single stick of dynamite carefully located would get them off :thumleft:

Re: How do I remove the washer jets?

the original (and most aftermarket) ones are held in place by opposing plastic springy clip things underneath , usually a case of compressing them with pliers or wiggling with a screwdriver to pop them free.

Perhaps yours are glued on ?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wire from relay getting hot - how to fix?

its heating up because of the current draw - those fans pull a lot of juice. You will need a larger guage cable from the 12v source all the way to the fans to avoid the fire potential! Stereo amp power cable would do the trick and is readily available at low cost, or pop into a branch of maplin ans ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] throttlebody coolant supply...why?

surely if it was for de-icing the TB then it would not work until the engine is warm anyway? the small amount of coolant held in there when the engine is off for a while wont stop the TB icing if its cold and it wont help fith fuel atomisation either until the engine is hot, at which point the rest ...
