Re: Wrong front drop links?

Yes, the OEM links should have the threaded attachments both facing the same way. The OEM links also have an allen key socket in the threaded section to hold it steady whilst you undo the nut. Other manufacturers use a spanner flat on the threaded section and guessing from the length of bolt showin...

Wrong front drop links?

I was having a look under my car at the weekend, checking the front suspension parts for play etc. I noticed that the front drop links seem to be attached in a rather strange manner that looks wrong: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y96/rally_yellow/MR2/FrontDropLink.jpg Looking at this picture: htt...

Re: Vague \ Loose Steering???

My front track rod ends had ejaculated all their fluid in various places, and i had no sense of real control over the car when being pulled into adverse camber and bumps in the road. Tyres does play a part too. Ah, what a way with words. My car exhibits some steering strangeness at the moment...

First time I've looked in the Group Buys section for a long time and just noticed this. Is it too late to get a mk1 keyring?

Re: MK1b - Face Off Stereo OK?

Oh, thanks for the heads up on the install - I had already read that the cage that comes with the head unit should be chucked and that the existing toyota bracket needs to be used and possibly drilled to fit. Hopefully it'll be quite straight forward!!! ~Phil. You shouldn't need to drill the Toyota...

Re: MK1b - Face Off Stereo OK?

Kendodd Head Unit Link Thingy Lol @ the Ken Dodd typo. Sorry. Erm, yes I have a Kenwood stereo that looks exactly like that and it fits fine. You just need to remove the plastic trim piece around the front as WeirdNeville has said. One thing - you don't use the metal cage thingy that comes wi...

[Mk2] [NA] Anyone here used to own H967 PFX?

Hi,

A mate at work has seen this car up for sale and I just wondered if anyone on here used to own it and whether they could provide any useful info about it. It's currently for sale from a trader, apparently taken as a part-ex. It's a green import NA mk2.

Cheers!

That paintjob reminds me of the Texaco Sierras, so a good look for a track car:

Re: Do leather seats come in some superchargers as factory option?

the reason leather in a moonroof seems quite rare is that the option of a T bar was only a few pounds more at about £500, so for the same money your choice would have been 1) moonroof with leather or 2) T bar with cloth no brainer for most people I would have thought! Yeah, but with hindsight you'd...

Original JDM non-conversion Supercharger meddling

Hi, When the subject of how much a mk1 SC is worth comes up it always seems that an original JDM supercharger is more highly valued than a conversion. So this begs the question what is important/different about an original SC that justifies this? And how far can you deviate from this without losing ...

That must be for the whole rack surely? Admittedly it's still very expensive for a rack but I think Jinxy's reply was about steering rack mounting bushes.

Does the one you've bought look like this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=5141&C=Maplin&U=SearchTop&T=car%20aerial&doy=3m4 It's the one people usually recommend when replacing the original mk1 aerial. You do need to do some wiring though, it's not plug and play. My aeri...

Re: Recommended tyres for 15" wheels

I've got 15x7J wheels with 195/50/R15 tyres all round. They're currently Goodyear Eagle F1 (came on the wheels when I bought them) and I've been very pleased with them. Not sure about fitting wider tyres to the rear but I suppose it gives more grip to the driving wheels but becomes less progressive ...

I live in Brighton but work at Shoreham-by-Sea so I'm on my way really. Hi Rupert, Ah, another Brighton resident! I just had a look in the IMOC garage and it says your car is a red one. I don't suppose you are the guy I've seen a couple of times recently driving around the Patcham area? I would be ...
