met paint is base coat and laq on top

sold my old MK2 to my Dad (50+) and he loves it, drives it everywhere. for the amount of car you get for your money.... they're up there with the best... in my opinion. 8) here here for the old farts ha ha :lol: :thumleft:

have been around cars all my working life, owned loads diffrent makes and models 50 years old (old fart ) as my boy says, but for pure outter the box good looks mr2 mk2 fits the bill .. and i don,t give 2 hoots what any one says better than todays tin plate crap .. 8) well had my rant ha ha :thumleft:
