thanks yeah that seems to be fine, is there any way to check for a faulty caliper whilst its off the car?

ok so i got the caliper fitted and new handbrake cable then re-MOT'd but still failed on the parking break test with the same brake not working enough. now the guy who fitted it thinks i could have been sold a faulty caliper. now my knowledge of how brakes work is very limited but it certianly looke...

offside rear caliper is compleatly gone where can i get a new or refurbished one within the ten days needed for a re-test, im in bristol btw.

i did find the slave in the engine bay just could see where to bleed it, i will have another look at where its mounted on, there is not much room with all the tubed and wires down there will i need to get underneath?

apart from all the obvious negative aspects of this, an mr2 with no roof does look good, if Toyota had ever done one that would be the model i would be buying.

thank you and yes it was exactly as you described. the push-rod behind the pedal seems to be wet also, tho i am not sure if its just grease. hopefully that wont need replacing because getting under that dash is so awkward.
