So its not that hard to do really and shouldn't take more than an hour or two.
Depending how reluctant the caliper is to let go of the torque plate... you might need a rubber mallet.
We had to resort to taking the torque plate off, some concrete blocks, a tyre lever, and a bucket of hot water...
Cheers for the help - Did it this morning
Clutch is now much smoother, and hardly any slippage (clutch itself is probably boned - but at least it's a lot easier to drive now).
Think all the bodywork is done, its just the painting to do now. Don't worry i'll get the NA going a fair rate of knots round the track i just won't brake for the corners! Works for Woodstock... oh, wait, hold on a sec :) Looking really good tho' - all that for £500? - oh, and are you going to fit ...
Blackwood is the only track available to Demo users, although there are more in S1 and even more in S2 (whenever that comes out).
How many people who race reg. are using the demo, and how many have the full versions?
I have S1.
More good racing last night. CJB and I had some good racing for a few laps a couple of times, before one of us made a mistake. I distributed my setup to people, it's highly compromised - i.e. if you run off into the gravel and stop, it can be hard to get out again, it's also pretty rubbish for the t...

The problem was more like when changing gear while accelerating, you put your foot down, change gear, take your foot off the cl...
Gah, that probably does for it then. The plugs are well and truley stuck in place, when I wanted to change the oil in the box shortly after we bought it, I had a good go at them, (WD40, PlusGas, Long extension on a breaker bar), all to no avail... I shall have to sort that first then, off to Machine...
Pulled away this morning, my foots off the clutch, but it's still engaged/coming off the clutch... oh dear. So, few questions : - Is it likley to be the clutch itself, or the slave cylinder, or air in the hydraulics? - If i'm going to take the clutch off anyway to replace, it is worth replacing the ...
Good grief...
Can you buy an evo for a few hundred quid? Will it be cheap to insure and run? Will it do 140'000miles+ before it gives up?
Just out of interest
