Re: coil over springs - which do you think is the stiffer?
i have now decided to ditch these Chinese springs on my coilover conversion because of the unknown suspect they are around 350lb 450lb ?. but without being tested know one really knows, the importers on ebay had no info. feel that they may be too hard for normal day to day driving so instead i have ...

Oil in struts?
I am doing the DIY mx5 coilover mod After stripping down the front struts and pulling out the shock inserts i find that both legs had been filled with oil of one sort or the other (blue) along with the insert. Both strut inserts are nearly new and not leaking. did a google and find some people put s...

Re: Twin Pot Calipers
If your were to upgrade the front brakes with st 165
/ 185
could your original vented fronts be fitted to the rear or would you also have to buy and fit all four from a st165
/ 185?

Re: wheels ?
Mk3 wheels have a offset of 45 and are placed too far inside the wheel arch for my liking my new wheels have a offset of 30 This lower offset makes my new wheels stick out further by an extra 15mm from my old mk3 wheels. (45 - 30 =15) if you went to zero or -2 then they would stick out even further ...
