Any help appreciated. I took the dash out of the car to spray it. Whilst at it i removed some old wires from stereo that had been previously removed. All was still ok stereo working etc. I then went off to speak to neighbour to get some insulating tape. On my return no power. Put it down to flat bat...

Cheers for the responses. Yes the doors were shut. I will give it a go braking hard on a nice clear stretch and see if it works. Here's hopping.
