Re: Andy's Rev 3 Turbo - Project complete.

'Kiss-ass' means to be a crawly suck bag to someone where I came from, I thought you may have meant 'Kick-ass' weekend. But hey, if kissing bums is your thing…

Kylie would have been ok back in the day, she's looking a bit old now.

Yes, there are some clean UK cars around. Lots of rotten ones, but some very nice examples to be found.

There's a recent thread on the beams, have a read of it for opinions on them.

Wow, that just looks so wrong without the wing. I have never seen one for sale like that in Japan, thought it was just a weird UK thing.

Re: Andy's Rev 3 Turbo - Project complete.

The car may actually be coming up for sale in the near couple of months. I'm moving and have a garage, and always wanted a caterham or Lotus 7 etc...... Seems bonkers when I've just thrown circa £12k at the car but it's an itch i can't scratch at the moment. You can't give up now, you'll forever lo...

Its a gold mica beige, and only 83000 kilometres, can trace the milage back from when imported, car seems totally standard, except for coilovers and alloys. Thats a real love/hate colour, hard to re-sell. T-top or hardtop? You'll have to keeo in mind, it's just an n/a (just… they still are enjoyabl...

Re: 99 BEAMS REV 5

I'd sort of like one just because, but wouldn't expect ball tearing power from it. I know a dude who has had a v6, turbo 3s and the beams all in SW's, he rated the beams as 'cool' but least favoured on the list of three. I think 4k is way too much for one, unless it was really in fantastic condition...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] This bodykit.......

Personally I love it. Yeah, it is super awesome in the pics, but thats a real deal kit made by a real body shop with some wealthy Japanese dude funding the lot. Not some ah's-hole with a spa bath fibreglass repair kit using tenth generation molds. Dude, when some half artzed 'thing' arrives on your...
