I think the whole theory is achieving phase change of the water/ meth as the air is compressed across the blades of the compressor wheel...which is why you need to inject it before the compressor wheel. Spraying post wheel will be the same (I think) as spraying in the hot pipe pre-intercooler, and ...

Good to hear buddy ... it could be hot ambient temps plus turbo being stressed at 16psi (producing a hot charge) coursing low performance .. anyhoo glad its sorted :thumleft:

I really enjoyed my time with a 4x4 turbo (st205) there great fun rain or shine cant wait to be in my next (evo) ... shame you have to sell up but needs must , ive really enjoyed your project and insightful posts hope you don't lose interest in the site when the 2 is gone ...

Hi Patrick, a brief run down of your cars engine and mods would help with a diagnosis .. it could be a simple boost leak (are you boosting the same) to running in bad gas mode if its a rev1/2 ...

I think my jet was 300cc rob so the 315 should be sweet depending on your cars injectors size :thumleft:

May i ask Rob what size jet you using ... and have you thought about running 2 jets eg. 1x 0.4mm spraying into the compressor to cool and change the compressor map .. and 1x 0.4mm after the intercooler to up octane and cool cylinders plus knock suppression n all that good stuff .

Looks very nice rob but are you not worried about you intercooler filling with water 8-[ not in the slightest to be honest... pre compressor injection is nothing new, the yanks, aussies, kiwis etc have done it forever in big power rotaries amongst other things without the water condensing in the in...

So I got the mongoose out today and... It is a 3" pipe... up to the downpipe. It's then stepped down to a 2.5" on the 3 bolt flange. My downpipe is 100% a 3" so now unsure. The step is only a couple of inches but in theory would be a restriction, right? Or..... is it even of concern ...
