Re: Aerosol spray paint

Only thing is theres probably over 5 different varients of your grey so it might not match. Dark colours you could get away with but greys / silvers are the worst #-o What do you mean? If i give the paint code, make model and year, isnt that made to a industry standard? (hence the point of having a...

Re: Aerosol spray paint

I have done it plenty of times before with other cars with great success 8) i have done front wings, a spoiler, front and rear bumpers, mirror's, and recently recond my current Lexus wheel's. Its easy if you take your time, and done right, there is NO difference. Previously tho its been with 'off th...

Aerosol spray paint

Has anyone bought aerosol spray paint for body work from either Halford, or www.Paints4u.com ? I have a Large Scratch/score on the side of my bumper, plus i want to do some side strips and some other bits around the car. I am pretty capable painting with aerosol paint, my only concern is the quality...

Re: Hello from Edd :-)

:( Nope Pacific works have been really busy, but I know they started on the car Yesterday so I don't imagine it'll be much longer. My current ride has 2 wheel's and pedals  I must admit its really nice currently cycling home from work, I get to go the scenic route and its keeping me fit. But f...

Re: newbie with a mr2 rev3 turbo powered lexus is 200

TBH, considering you found the head bolts were loose, I would throw it all back together to the correct torques and tolerances and see if it works :-$ Loose bolts could cause the head to lift and then water could get all sorts of places without any head gasket failure. Sounds good!! If the Head Gas...

Re: Coolant overheating (keteling)

:-k Id say its totally not normal

Mines never done it in 6 years untill the last 2 weeks,
now the head gasket has gone.

I think your wise to change the thermostat, maybe check coolant blockage and drain / change the whole coolant. Its not worth risking ignoring.

Re: Swerve @ 80 plus

I agree with the tire pressure issue but in this case if its the same as me its prompted by a bump in the road. For me a sweeping left hand bend is fine, just this weekend i (cough) might have been going round the M25 and took a couple of left hand bends at 115mph :-$ On right hand one's t...

Re: Swerve @ 80 plus

BACK TO THE TOPIC...................... Its not the spoiler (thats a daft suggestion) I get a slight un-nerving wobble from the back end of the car on right hand bends on the motorway (never left hand!!) above 70mph. :-k For example, bumps and old roadowrks, pot holes, bumps crossing a change in sur...
