rear brakes/hand brake

ok its time for another one of my simple questions about the basics of the mr2... I've rebuilt all my brakes and fitted braided lines but I haven't put ant bbrake fluid in yet, I figured I'd test the rears via the hand brake first so I don't have to drain all the ffluid again should they not work......

brake lines...

ok, I'll keep this simple. how the f*ck do you remove the rubber brake lines? I've managed to get one off the metal connector but the other 3 are baffling me and for the life of me I can't get any of the muddle part of the line off the car. I may be being exceptionally dense but I'm lost. I only hav...

Re: 4AGE Tuning

I didn't realise so many of you tuned your 4ages, I figured from reading loads of Pauls stuff that swaps where the way forward for the guys here. I'm glad to see that people will be there to help, I have to admit this will be a good while in ...

Re: 4AGE Tuning

I'd rather spend lower than £5k, I'm not even 100% this is the route I'll go down, I just want the information so I can make the decision best for me.

I figured I could get the parts I said for around £3k but I assumed I have missed a lot of things.

Thanks

4AGE Tuning

Ok, I know this won't be as cost affective as a engine swap and will be a little pointless in doing but think of this as a technical exercise for myself. I want to tune a NA 16v 4AGE engine. I hope to get the output to around 170-180bhp but I have no REAL knowledge of engines and specifics such as m...

spare wire after putting my gearbox back in?

Ok, I've changed my clutch, all engine oil and transaxle oil and oil filter, gearbox is reattached and when I was putting the battery back in I noticed there is a wire that is going no where, it can reach no where and I have no bloofy idea what it's for, however when I use the indicators they're sup...

Cracked gearbox?

Hi guys I have been chaining my clutch the last few days, and today when I have been cleaning my gearbox before I put it back on I noticed what looked like a "chip" or "crack" in the base of the gearbox. I think this isn't supposed to be there and I'm going to be gutted if this m...
