Re: strange o2 readings?

I am using a digital mm. The contact I am making is good. Its puzzling that I got it to do it once before but not again. I went and had a probe put in at my local mot place and he said it was a little rich if anything until he touched the throttle and then the 02 volume reading went too high.sorry I...

Hello all! So as the title suggests I'm getting strange readings when I connect my multimeter to the diagnostic port. With the -ve on ground and the +ve on Ox I should be seeing between 0.1v to 0.9v with quite a lot of fluctuating but I'm getting nothing! Also, when I try to test fuel trim I should ...

Re: Estimated power projection?

thanks for that bob! if this is the most important consideration then i will take care to get it spot on. im quite happy to turn the boost down as my ct20b is quite old and i don't want to push it until I've found the right turbo.

Re: Estimated power projection?

yeah i read that thread too. it says with a 1mm gasket the c/r will be 9.0:1. for cp's. i didn't want to mention using a thicker head gasket because of what this thread said!!

Re: Estimated power projection?

hmmm. it seems a lot of people are using 8.0-8.5:1 on their builds. have i made a grievous error buying 9.0:1's? is anyone running the same c/r as I'll have? all advice is welcome guys! thanks!

Re: Estimated power projection?

hmmm. i didn't think of je! so is a 9.0:1 c/r way too high? i was thinking that i could just turn the boost down a little and let the mapper take care of the rest. im looking for reliability over anything else.
