Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Views/Reviews on lowering springs

This is my car on Apex -30mm http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3794/p1030547g.jpg Personally, I love them. Just as comfortable as OEM, and low enough to give a nice stance, but not too low to make me have to avoid speedbumps. I can't really comment on performance much, but they make the car feel ve...

Re: Rear mud flap fixing points.

I've fitted some to my Rev 4. I only used the hole underneath (nuts/bolts/washers) and the lower of the 2 holes down the side (there was a screw already there that fitted fine)...i didn't really wanna go drilling into my bumper for the top fixing point though.

Very nice...and quite an improvement over the 306! :thumleft:

I've always liked how the ZX's looked but damn, the T020 just blows it away! =P~

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Can I see your (gear) knobs?

There was a fella called Chris who used to run a company called MR2Gear up until September last year. He produced some real nice looking MR2 gear knobs, but ceased production. I got in contact with him last month and he was thinking of getting back into business...it might be worth contacting him to...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Tyre Paint

Am I right in saying that these wheels are quite rare AVS jobbies? I've not seen many of them about, can't find any on the net or eBay etc. I do like them but mine were in awful condition, but managed to twist my old mans arm to paint them for me  Advan AVS 6 i believe. From what i remember t...

I'm liking that! :thumleft: I've been contemplating doing mine for a while now - i've got some paint left over from when i did my bike.

...looks like we have the same wheels too 8)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] has anyone got set of these speekers?

I have sound deadening and wave diffuser material in my doors. I had it installed at the same time as my Focals though, so i have no idea whether it made any difference. I can say however that i can have my stereo up rather loud, get out the car and shut the door, and i can barely hear it...so i'm g...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] has anyone got set of these speekers?

I have a set of Focal 165VR's. They're pretty damn awesome speakers, but they did cost the best part of £200.

Focal are renowned for their quality though, so i'm sure these are pretty good too :thumleft:

Re: NFS Hot pursuit

I got this game last week. I haven't played it much as i'm rather busy on Guitar Hero during all of my spare time, but i have to say it's a really great game.

I'd much rather have this over Gran Turismo/Forza etc - it's just so much more fun :thumleft:

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] toms skirts thingy

In my experience, no. Not in the slightest. If anything, it just makes it worse. My winglets seem to collect dirt/stones/debris in the small gap between it and the skirt...and you need small hands to clean behind them. Said gap can be seen somewhat in this picture: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514...

Re: Running a MR2 in the winter

I drove my MR2 all last winter and swore i'd never do it again. It's not because of the car though, it's simply due to the fact that i live too close to where i work for my heaters to warm up before i get there! :oldtongue: My car was fine in itself though, just take it easy and you'll be OK. I'll b...

Hmmm...tempting. I've never been an Xbox fan, but i put that down to never actually using one for more than 5 minutes.

It costs the same as a new set of tyres though... :-k

Re: do i have rare optional extra recaros?

I can't say i've seen those particular Recaros in an MR2 before, but i know that these Recaro "Fishnet" seats came in a few MR2's.

I'm not talking from experience however, just stuff i've heard.

Yep, standard shocks will be fine...it just might reduce their lifespan slightly.

For -30mm and a comfortable ride, Apex springs are the way to go. Very nice price too :thumleft:
