Motivation/ now need help please

Hi everyone, My post may be boring to some but I am requesting some motivation from fellow MR2 enthusiasts. I bought my second MR2 which was a turbo when I was 18, the first being an N/a 3SGE. I spent fortunes on the car having all sorts of work done and doing a lot myself, making it orrange which i...

Re: Battery query (it's been a while)

60 quid seems ok for a battery so if it's a good one I might have to treat myself :)

Cheers guys

Battery query (it's been a while)

Hi guys, It's been a while since my car has been on the road and even longer since I've been on here. It's about time I got the motor running again but when searching around for batteries all sorts come up. I have a rev 3 GTS and the battery is goosed. Has anyone got a good source for a new one. Or ...

difference in part numbers?

i had a recent issue with my car that was bringing up a fault code suggesting igniter coil or coil pack. i have changed the part now for a 2nd hand item but i don't think it's quite right. the part that came of my car had a green sticker on the top with the numbers 201, the replacement part had a bl...

Re: how many things can go wrong changing a bulb!

well i think i should hold my hands up and be honest, as i swapped the bulbs arround it seems the other one blew. they looked ok but it was just the bulbs that had blown #-o

i am ashamed lol but at least it was a cheap fix, cheers for the help anyway :)

Re: how many things can go wrong changing a bulb!

ye, my plan is to head to the garage when i get some time away from work in the day. it was a bit of a wild shot on here but i was hoping there may be some sort of common fault area on them. ill cope until weekend, to be honest it's saving me money not using it at night :)

Re: how many things can go wrong changing a bulb!

im pretty convinced still that a it's not the bulbs because both filaments look fine in both bulbs and i know one of the bulbs was working before i swapped it to the drivers side and now neither work in either side of the car lol. still not had chance to check the stalk yet though, again seems to be...

Re: how many things can go wrong changing a bulb!

i'm pretty bad at electrical stuff i never know where i'm meant to be checking voltages etc but i should get time to pop to my mates garage this week. i don't think it is the stalk because the full beam wont come on until the stalk is switched to the light on position are there any connections or wi...

Re: had a marble thrown through my rear window

well ye i never thought about a slingshot but when someone mentioned it the other day i figure it must have been.. it went right through the window and left a mark on my boost controller so to carry that sort of power through a thick piece of glass it can't have just been a throw. im presuming it's ...
