Krish's MR2 - CONVERSION FINISHED - LOVING IT - pg5
So its about time I started a journal for my MR2 :D Quick background, I was a big Ford fan until I drove a BMW and instantly thought I need one!!! I ended up buying a E36 320, then sold that and bought a E36 323. I had my first winter in a rear wheel drive and wrote it off   #-o This is w...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Just bought a Rev3 Turbo for conversion into my Rev 5 N/A!
Hi, Good luck with the conversion :thumleft: You may possibly need to swop the the cars loom that runs from the passenger side footwell to the engine bay (fuse box) for the one from the rev3 tubby for the engine to run. Kev. Thanks for the heads up Kev. I read the conversion sticky in the knowledge...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Just bought a Rev3 Turbo for conversion into my Rev 5 N/A!
might be werth checking with your insurance company about allowing for a complete turbo engine swap. im hoping youve checked this already. many are not happy about conversions (unless your with a specialist, sky/aplan etc etc) just so you know youll need the turbo fuel pump. Thanks for the advice, ...

OK I found out I don't need to change all the lock sets because the Rev3 ECU does not have an immobiliser
Big thanks to Chris for letting me know

Thanks mate, I forgot to add coolant
Might have to do some reading on the ignition. Really don't fancy having 2 different keys for door locks and ignition

[Mk2] [NA] Just bought a Rev3 Turbo for conversion into my Rev 5 N/A!
Hi everyone! I just bought a Rev3 turbo from an auction site. Not even heard it run or anything!!! This could end up being a total flop so I've started praying already! The plan is to swap the Rear clips with all the associated bits (ECU, fuel pump, etc) and sell all the rest of the parts. Ha...

[Mk2] [NA] Tyre size problem :(
Hi guys, I have a strange tyre size problem. I needed to change my tyres on my alloys. I have crappy Wolfrace Porto alloys in 17". They are not staggered so 7.5j all round. Since buying the car I have not changed the tyres and it had Toyo T1-Rs all round; 205/45/17 up front and 215/45/17 rear. ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Newbie to MR2 (Cam belt chaning, servicing)
i would not make the cambelt the first DIY job on an MR2. Take it to a specialist and pay the £250 odd quid they charge. +2 This was the 1st job I was going to do as well but decided I was better off taking it to a specialist. I serviced the car myself. Nice an easy just like any other car. There a...

Re: FK Coilovers
I had FK Coilovers on my last E36 Coupe. They are a load of crap, I also has Jamex coilovers before that and they were a load of crap too. The build quality of the FK was not great, they rust very quickly, the adjusters are crap and sheer very easily. The spring rates were all wrong so there cant be...
