Re: Chargecooler?

Okay. The cores themselves look pretty small and quite thin though.

Next question, how easy are they to fit?

Chargecooler?

Are the benefits of replacing the stock intercooler on a Rev3+ with a ST205 chargecooler much greater than replacing with an uprated intercooler? I will be collecting my MR2 Tubby on sunday and want to get on with prepping it for some trackwork. How easy are the ST205 chargecoolers to come across? C...

Re: Standard Boost

Okay, so when you say "supporting mods" what do you mean? Induction, decat, exhaust?

I have searched but there isn't really anything in th knowledge base.

Re: Standard Boost

Spot on thanks buddy, exactly the answers I was looking for?

Next, what duty are the injectors running as standard? Uprated injectors needed for upping the boost?

I am guessing that the easiest & safest way to adjust fuelling is with an Emanage or similar?

Re: Standard Boost

So is standard boost 0.9bar? Or is that what the turbo is good for?

At what boost pressure does the turbo become inefficient?

Standard Boost

How much boost should a standard Rev 3/4/5 tubby be producing? Tried searching but no joy.

Also whilst on the subject. How much boost are the CT20B's (Thats what's on the Rev3+ ain't it?) good for?

Cheers

Re: Anyone know this 2?

Yea I have asked him about the airbag etc. Will see what he comes back with. I think he is just assuming it is a Rev 5 due to it being an R reg.

I hope to buy either this one or the black GTS with gold Advans in the classified section :)

Re: Anyone know this 2?

As long as it is Rev 3+ then I am not too bothered what rev it is. Is there anything specific to look out for engine wise on MR2's?

Re: Anyone know this 2?

Ah okay,

can you enlighten me as to why he is banned? It's on an R reg so surely it must be a Rev 4/5 unless the number plates are illegal?

Cheers,

Anyone know this 2?

Hi folks, new around here :) Anyway, looking at getting my first MR2 and I came across this: - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1227221.htm I have to say, it looks fantastic (IMO), is pretty well specced, low milage and the engine is unfettled with and running standard boost so a great platform to w...
