Re: [FINALIZED] Manual Steering Rack & Column
Sorry for the delay

So would this 100% fit a rev3?
Mines a manual rack but the tie rods have started to develop a little slop

Re: The sound of running/trickling water??
Pretty much what you've described, make sure you open both bleed valves one on the heater matrix in the middle and the other on the radiator. Stick the little hoses that should be in the trunk on them and loop them over the locking O on the bonnet. Once opened the coolant will run up then and you c...

Re: The sound of running/trickling water??
thanks all. one of the previous owners kindly tied a cabletie to the coolant level dipstick so i should be able to keep an eye on the water level. any tips on bleeing these appreciated. normally i would remove the rad cap/expansion bottle (which ever is highest) let the engine warm up and then hold ...

The sound of running/trickling water??
Random post maybe, but i have this very irritating sound of trickling or running water which seems to be coming from the passenger footwell area. Anyone experienced this before? At first i just assumed it was fuel or the washer bottle, but that would be more of a sloshing noise if i could hear it at...

Re: Rear sills
i did the rear sills on mine about 2months ago with the ebay kit. nice thick good quality kit only issue i found was the rust tends to spread up into the lower wheel arch a little. Fortunately i had some spare plate at the workshop so made up a small piece on each side to fill the gap. Dont go too ...

Re: Suspension refesh?
Polymer tech has come a long way. Modern polybushes are not the round bits of hard plastic that were around in the Max Power days. You can squash Prothane bushes somewhat by hand. They'll be a big improvement over knackered OE bushes in all aspects. Good to know. The ones i fitted to the Almera bac...

Re: Suspension refesh?
Thanks guys. that gives me a rough idea. Years back i had a Nissan Almera GTi, i replaced the engine mounts with RED polybushes and afterwards i couldnt see out of my rear view mirror there was that much vibration in the cabin!! I read that the blacks are meant to be the closest to OEM but i see tha...
