Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What power is standard clutch good for?

not planning big power. Prob running 1bar to 1.1 bar max.

So standard clutch ok?

Looking at ebay and differernt clutches for instance: standard clutch about £130 but found a techniclutch stage 2 for £150.

Whats the better one as when i had a rs turbo people frowned on techniclutch.

My new wheels and exhaust

Some quick pics to show my new wheels and exhaust - what u think? Im thinking of getting the side strips done in black with silver mr2 turbo logo as original on the rear and giving it a good polish and mop to get it back to nice gleaming red. http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr266/notroubleclubber...

gearbox oil hasnt really helped my situation. Just as bad (maybe even worse) now jumps out of 3rd everytime i change down. 3S has quoted my £450 for replacement gearbox supplied and fitted, is there anywhere cheaper?

Re: Anyone in Swindon Help?!

we should meet up. I tackled the gearbox next and found that it had about 1/4 of a litre of oil in it!!! No wonder it was whining. Managed to get about 3.5l of fresh 75w 90 gear oil in it. Havent had a chance to take it out yet. Also managed to get hold of an oil filter and got some magnatec to go i...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Problems Changing Exhaust

It was a hard task. Basically took off the flexi where it joins bottom of cat - then used a drill with a long wood bit to break it all up. Took about an hour of that, a few drill bits and screwdirvers later and it was done. Made a right mess but cleared it all up. WHats lethal about it? It was sharp...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Problems Changing Exhaust

Ihave a departure that has rusted in the usual places so I got hold of another custom exhaust which has the flexi with it so i was hoping to just unbolt the 3 bolts where the flexi joins the bottom of the cat (i think thats what it is), then undo the 2 other bolts holding the tailpipes on then just ...
