Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rough idle when warm (help to check idle control parts)
I think that Rev2 are equal to Rev3 and so on.
Before I change the ISCV the idle are at 850RPM+- but with rough idle, up and down... Now with the ISCV replaced the idle is stable, but at 1000RPM.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rough idle when warm (help to check idle control parts)
Yes, the TB and ISCV were cleaned. In my hands the car didn't had any adjustment in the throttle, related to this just the cleaning of the TB/ISCV and the ISCV electrical part replacement. But I don't know if the previous owner did any adjustment. But the car feels ok pulling at full throttle, and c...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rough idle when warm (help to check idle control parts)
Just to update the situation. I replaced the ISCV - the electrical part only ( http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=153753 ) and the rough idle disapeared. But with that I got a new symptom... Now at cold it idles at 2000RPM (normal behavior), then drops and keeps stable at 1000RPM when warm...

ISCV sensor part number differences, are interchangeable?
Hi, I bought a new ISCV sensor, ordered the 22270-74070, but received 22270-74210. Both looks the same, and the resistance between terminals are ok. Can I replace the older sensor with the new I bought (even with the different part number)? I think that the sensor is equal in all part numbers, and t...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rough idle when warm (help to check idle control parts)
Bridged the E1-TE1 terminals and the engine lights blinks continuously. So, no problem with error code. I doubt that's a problem with the cooling systems, because the rough idle problem happened before and after I renew the entire cooling system. Thanks for the tips, I will keep searching for what c...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rough idle when warm (help to check idle control parts)
The mechanical part of the ICV has been cleaned, and looks like is ok. Can it be a problem in the electrical part of te ICV (where the connector is plugged)? Also, justo to help diagnose, the coolant system was been entirely rebuilt, the ignition parts (rotor, dizzy cap, leads and plugs) are new, an...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] RHD quick steer pinion and Powerflex steering rack bushings
The first batch of Powerflex steering rack bushes have been produced and some testers are on their way to myself. A set will also be trial fitted to a non-power steering rack SW20 MR2. The bushes will fit in LHD cars? My MR2 is LHD and I'm interested in the steering rack bushes. Also, in some posts...

[Mk2] [NA] Rough idle when warm (help to check idle control parts)
I got a MK2 NA Rev2 and since I got them I notice a problem with idling. When the engine is cold the idle is set to higher RPM and once it's warm it drops to 850RPM+-, the normal procedure. But when the engine is warm sometimes I notice the rough idle between 750/950RPM+-. Is not always, it can idle...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] air con parts toyota mr2 mk2 n/a
Order from USA.
I got a new condenser, DENSO original, for near 230 GBP with import duty.
If your car are Rev1/2 you need DENSO part number 477-0110.
I ordered from this website, http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_cross ... 0&x=47&y=5

[Mk2] [NA] Japspeed N/A Manifold Lambda sensor fitting problem
Hi, I bougth the Japspeed Manifold for N/A engine (3S-GE) and I'm trying to fit it, but I'm having problems with fitting the lambda sensor (oxygen sensor). My car is a Rev2 (Fev/1992) and has the DENSO DOX0208 or DOX0216 (flange type). The Japspeed Manifold uses screw type lambda sensor so I cannot ...

Re: bleeding/Filling up coolant
Just one quick answer.
If I want to top up the coolant level is just fill at the filler cap until the coolant reaches there?
And what about the reserve tank... Is it doing anything? At least for what I saw it's only a place where the excess coolant goes in. Am I right?
Cheers!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Whiteline adjustable anti roll bars
I'm still waiting to receive the ARB's but in Whiteline's site it says the rear has only 2 holes. Maybe it's wrong.
Thanks for the tips
I will set up in middle at front and inner at rear.
