That's a lot of views for only 3 comments :? Google Bots are all over these pages, everytime they initiate a view... Either that or the OP got drunk one night and paid his son a fiver to repeatedly click and go back for an hour or so  If that was the case then surely most of the forum posts wo...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
I tried but IMs were down and any post attempt errored. I thought about raising it through Facebook but never got around to it  Nice work for raising it and to whoever fixed it :) I tried the same as you with no success either, then noticed that since the forum software update (at least a deca...

Unlucky Thirteen ? not for me ;) My birthday is on the 13th (not this month) I bought my MR2 on 13/05/2004 and it's MOT was due today the 13th , how's that for coincidences? :) MOT was booked for 8.30, by 9.30 it had passed 🎉👏 \:D/ A couple of minor advisories, Corrosion on the coil springs, ...

Re: Battery terminal connectors - Mk2 Rev 3 GT-S
Try here https://www.vehiclewiringproducts.co.uk ... amps-clips it's usually decent quality parts from here
Check they are the correct size (jap spec terminals are often smaller) for your battery, they sell conversion collars if needed.

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
No problem, hopefully your threads being live and updated will be encouragment to others and perhaps attract people back to the forum 8) Just for info, the best source of info on 1.5/1.6 conversions is the originator of the concept Paul Woods, the best forum was TwoBrutal, which unfortunately is no ...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
Good result. 8) well done the sparky for figuring it out. That kind of thing is a fairly common problem with conversions with wiring from 2 cars joined together, unless the person doing the wiring is pretty competant (electrically) then the result tends to be a bit of a bodge. with no diagrams left ...

Re: [MK2] [N/A] Power Steering Motor Not Stopping
This has also come with another odd bug. Per other info I've read on the P/S system, the pump should autmotically switch off if the wheel isn't moved for a while (and the car is under about 10mph) mine currently runs constantly. I've got not warning lights and I've followed the diagnostic in the BG...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
This is the junction box (J/B No 3 I was referring to https://a4.pbase.com/g3/01/187001/2/122142500.7FWnNWQv.jpg All the headlight wiring passes through this box, some people have had problems with burnt connections, slack plugs at this box, even seen pics of it melted. If you look on page 8-2 of th...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
Sounds very much like you have done something. If you use the diagrams and work from the fuses onwards you should find the problem  IIRC there's also a fault that happens in a junction box behind the dash which affects an earth return path I Can't remember what circuits it affects and may be a...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
1987 may or may not have dim/dip, black relay usually means dim/dip. If the extra wire with a bullet connector is Green/Black then it's to do with the indicator/Haz lights, possibly something to do with a aftermarket alarm system (flash indicators on arming?). The headlight relay puts power to both ...

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
So they don't pop up or light up ? What year is it ? the retract control relays have different versions (mostly due to dim/dip. Your relay will either be gray(1a) or black (1b) a crossover car could be either, can't remember if they are interchangeable I have a vague feeling they aren't. Not sure if...
