Why did TRD come up with the kit, was it anything to do with them racing the MR2?

The answers in here:

Re: jack-p's TRD Widebody up for sale.

I'd love this, but I couldn't take something that gorgeous on track! The wider tyres do make it the perfect candidate for big power though  Left it a little bit and now re-listed this on pistoneads if anyones interested. here's the link. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota...

Just got up to date on this, loving the progress Karl.

Interesting decision regarding the wheels and I definitely see your reasons for going this way. Out of curiosity are they as light as the rev5 alloys as I remember they were pretty good on weight?

Re: Yellow TRD widebody project ***BIG MOT FAIL, END OF THE LINE FOR ME***

Looking forward to following this, your plans sound like it should end up looking very tidy. The extended center panel wasn't an original TRD thing by the way, they were designed to look as it currently does (not to say it doesn't look good either way). Shame about the mounting of the rear numberpla...

Re: how stiff should a strut be?

Thanks Karl but the black and the yellow bilsteins are a different stiffness. I don't think I'll bother pursuing a refund, they were cheap enough and to tell the truth I can't be bothered with the hassle of it! I would say what most have said, they should compress by hand -but take a fair push. The ...

Awww man, this means I'm out of the lucky dip since I'm collecting my ticket!

I certainly can't speak for everyone but I personally think you should keep one of those 'chillout zone' tickets for yourself given the effort you've put into organizing all of this Karl.

yep, a cheap little peugeot The choice with the bomex spoiler was to either hack it up and see if it looked any better or sell it for a profit, was a no brainer since i didnt think it looked good to be honest but part of me still wishes I saw it through. the peugeot is a means to an end... certainly...

Re: how stiff should a strut be?

I would take the springs off to check them Jack, where did you buy them? I'll get the other springs off and check the rest of the struts when I can bargain with someone to lend me a hand. I bought them from 4ndee who had them up on here, although I'm pretty sure I ended up getting them through ebay...

Re: Question about a turbo engine cover

Make sure you get the rain tray as well because unlike the n/a engine lid, the turbo engine lid has a separate rain tray.
