No joke... What could be causing this?
The car turns over runs for about a second and cuts out.
When the sun is in, no problem, starts fine and runs fine...
Battery is new.
Could it be a relay or something that's on its way out?
Thanks,
Will

Re: Rev4 Turbo wont start
No alarm & no error codes!
I had this problem the other day, then suddenly it was totally fine again.
But back to not starting now!

Rev4 Turbo wont start
It turns over and runs for about 2 seconds then cuts out.
Fuses all OK, all ignition components are fairly new.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Will

Ask two different people... get two different opinions.
I have been using it for a few years!
Only do about 2000 miles a year and it gets changed annually.

Re: Not running well when started
My Rev4 Turbo is running rough for the first minute upon startup, struggling to tick over.
The plugs, cap, arm /HT leads are all about 2 years old.
Done about 5000 miles since they were replaced.
Could dirty plugs cause this?
It runs fine once up too temp.

Re: Rev 2 Tubby v Golf MK5 R32 DSG
That's quite cheap. My PDK 'box is a £15K replacement if it goes wrong. :pale: This is why if I could ever afford a Porsche turbo S or a e46 m3 I wouldnt go for their fancy gearbox even though I would really want to lol If you had £85k for a TurboS (PDK) you would have enough money for an OPC warra...
