Re: 996 911 Turbo
Have you left yours standard? Do I want a 2002 onwards? Been told there was a facelift, dash and not sure what else? G End of the day a 911 turbo is a 911 turbo.. mine is 2001, there are a few slight cosmetic changes in the 2002 model, but when I got it at 20 I jumped in right at the deep end befor...

Re: 996 911 Turbo
Nice. Test drove a manual the other day. Felt quick. Surprised how silent it was though. I wanted it to sound a bit better when giving it some. Are the standard exhausts stainless steel? A milltek looks to be the best option but is mega bucks! G I dont thnk the standard exhaust is stainless steel. ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wet weather missfire
let me know how you get on, weather permitting ill try to inspect mine this weekend. Make sure that you're in a patient mood, pulling the coil/igniter out is a right pain in the ar$e. Access is supremely awkward and I'm willing to bet that all of the screws that attach the coil to the igniter have ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Changing the gearbox speed sensor on Rev4 Turbo
Recently my old speed sensor broke, it was jumping up and down all over the place.
I have a second hand one that I have fitted from a well known mr2 parts specialist, however now it reads nothing at all?
And, yes it is plugged in!
Was there any specific way I should of put it in?
Thanks

Re: Halfords oil filter part number
Wouldent it be easier to get a toyota one? Not that much more expensive than a non genuine one anyway. Not for me, its well over an hour to my nearest dealer! And the Motor Factors round here are useless and more expensive than Halford on trade ebay ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-TOYOTA-MR2-TU...
